Contemplative Photography, my way of seeing light, shadow, texture, and societal messages when my eye is drawn to any given scene and generally without people. It can be a meditative practice and a time to just be aware of your surroundings. A slower pace from street that when combined with the skills of street photography can enhance visual storytelling and improve the practice of documentary photography. It is a practice that promotes the exploration of the subconscious by asking why you are drawn to a scene and what is the connection with your lived experience. Good for slowing down and maintaining good mental health and wellbeing.

I hope you enjoy the gallery and as always happy to catch up with anyone interested in working together or sharing knowledge.
